Specpalms.com nursery is part of a long family tradition. Our grandfather, Fred Stafford, first began farming this land in the mid 1920's when he raised vegetables and flowers on the 23 acre ranch where we now grow palms. Although we're no longer producing food to eat, we feel we're continuing our family farming tradition by growing something which provides beauty and pleasure.

We specialize in field grown trees; Kentia, King, Royal, Queen, Mexican Fan Palm, Phoenix Reclinata, and Giant Bird of Paradise. Our nursery, situated in the fertile Otay River valley, in San Diego's South Bay region, has the ideal coastal climate for palms and we are proud to produce healthy, hardy trees which transplant successfully and look beautiful right away."
